LED wall lights are one of the most used options when decorating an interior, whether modern, classic or vintage. The choice of wall sconces thanks to the GreenIce catalog is enormous. The LED technology that accompanies our wall lights continues to be the key to having efficient and effective lighting at home, paying special attention to energy savings. We can find, at first glance, two types of appliques. Wall lights with fixed LED technology as socket wall lights, supplied directly with a LED bulb, which makes it relatively easy to convert a wall light into an LED lamp.
1 How do you connect LED sconces to the wall?
It is necessary to remember that we must always follow the relevant security measures when handling any installation. We have to make sure that the electrical cables hidden in the wall are not damaged. First of all, you have to turn off the circuit breaker. The absence of voltage is tested and determined with a multimeter on all poles and on all sides, to ensure that there is no danger. The cables are inserted and stripped professionally. If we are not able to do it ourselves, we will have to contact an electrician. The ground connection (PE), the neutral conductor (N) and the phase conductor (L) are connected to the terminal and it is checked that they are securely fastened. Once this has been checked, the lamp can now be fully installed and the bulb (if not fixed) can be placed in its place. The last step is to check if the light is positioned correctly. Then you can reconnect the circuit breaker (fuse) and check the correct operation of the LED wall light in the room and enjoy its convenient and comfortable lighting.
2 Different wall lights for different rooms
- Appliques for the living room: At GreenIce we have a catalog where you will be able to choose from a large number of styles and shapes of wall lights. Additionally, any ordinary wall lamp (with replaceable bulbs) can be converted into an LED lamp with the correct LED bulb. Plaster, wood or brass are some of the materials that our clients regularly choose for the wall lights in their living rooms.
- Bedroom appliques: LED wall lights for bedrooms are great substitutes for table lamps. It is also common to place sconces or reading lights next to the bed to enjoy well-lit nighttime reading sessions without stress on the eyes thanks to LED technology. If we do not have a connection to the wall next to the bed, we can use a power outlet cable for the lamp as a quick and practical solution. Choose the one that best suits the style of your bedroom with the wide range of LED wall lights that we have at GreeIce.
- Bathroom appliques: Wall lamps are mainly used for mirror lighting in bathrooms. And because LED lighting technology (in addition to cost savings) offers more possibilities, especially smart home technology, LED wall lamps are increasingly replacing classic fluorescent bulbs. In addition, you can accompany the renovation and lighting of the bathroom with a change of faucets. Take a look at the catalog we have at GI BATH.
