Available end cap models

Each profile has its own specific end cap, which matches the shape of the aluminum and the diffuser. Our catalog includes end caps for:

  • Type A, high A, B, C, D, high D, G, X, Y and Z profiles: the standard surface, recessed and corner profile shapes. For type B you can choose a round or straight finish.
  • Named series profiles: COSMO, DILEDA, inDILEDA, SILEDA, inSILEDA, INSO, LARGO, MICO, RETO, SCALA, SOLIS, SORGA, ZATI and iLEDO.
  • TIANo: versions for recessed or straight mounting.
  • Type H: left and right end caps, for asymmetric profiles.
  • Type I10: for profiles that hold 10 mm glass, such as illuminated shelves.

Many models come in versions with and without a hole: the end cap with a hole lets the strip's power cable through, and the blank one closes the opposite end.

What are end caps for?

  • Appearance: they hide the cut end of the aluminum and the inside of the profile.
  • Protection: they keep out dust and dirt and protect the strip.
  • Holding the diffuser: they keep the diffuser in place at the ends.
  • Cable exit: the model with a hole routes the cable neatly.

How to choose the right end cap

Profile model

This is the key criterion: the end cap must correspond exactly to the profile type or series (for example, a SOLIS end cap for a SOLIS profile). Check the part number of the profile you bought.

Diffuser type

Some profiles accept diffusers of different heights; in that case there are standard and high end caps (as with types A and D).

With or without a hole

You'll usually need an end cap with a hole at the power end and a blank one at the opposite end.
