What are LED Panels used for?

LED Panels are a type of product commonly used in offices and commercial spaces, especially in suspended ceilings, also known as Armstrong ceilings.

This product represents the natural evolution of the old 595 mm x 595 mm panels, which were made up of fluorescent tubes installed in the past. The dimensions of this product are 595 mm x 595 mm, perfectly matching the size left by the partitions in this type of ceiling. The installation is really straightforward, as it simply involves dropping the panel into place, and it remains fixed in the lamellas that form the suspended ceiling.

However, its installation is not limited to suspended ceilings; there are different alternatives for surface mounting. At least three mounting alternatives are available for these LED panels:

Possible Installations of an LED Panel

• Suspension Kit: It is used when the light point needs to be moved downward vertically, enhancing the illumination provided by this product. This type of mounting is often used in industrial warehouses where the ceiling height is considerable, and industrial bell fixtures are to be avoided.
• Installation Frame: This type of installation is used when a surface mount is desired with an aesthetic touch. With this frame, the LED panel can be surface-mounted, and the driver can be concealed in the space between the ceiling and the panel.
• Surface Mounting Kit: It is the most economical option. These are metal clips that position the LED panel 4 centimeters away from the ceiling, allowing for surface mounting.
