The 500 lm 5000K Recessed LED Emergency Light is a self-contained luminaire designed for emergency and evacuation lighting, providing safety illumination in the event of a failure or interruption of the standard power supply. Maintained / Non-maintained operation The luminaire supports two operating configurations: Maintained mode: the LED source remains on while standard power is available; in the event of a mains failure, the system automatically switches to battery power. Non-maintained mode: the LED source remains off during normal operation and activates automatically when the power supply is interrupted. This dual operating capability allows the same luminaire to be adapted to various design criteria and project requirements. Self-contained emergency system It features an integrated electronic system that manages the power supply, battery charging, and automatic switching to emergency mode. During normal operation, the circuit keeps the battery system ready for use.
