LED bulbs - Ledvance - Osram

In this Ledvance-Osram bulbs section we bring together replacement lamps from one of the most established lighting brands in Europe. Here you'll mainly find conventional lamps (sodium vapor, halogen and incandescent) to keep existing fixtures running that you haven't yet switched to LED. At GreenIce we help you find the exact replacement and, if you prefer, its equivalent LED alternative.

Types of Ledvance-Osram lamps available

Sodium vapor lamps

Dimmable 2000 K lamps with the characteristic orange light of road lighting. We stock the E27 base in 50 W (3700 and 4200 lm) and the E40 base in 100 W, 250 W and 400 W, with outputs from 10,300 lm up to 56,500 lm. They are the usual replacement in street lights, floodlights and warehouse lighting running on sodium gear.

Halogen lamps

  • Mains-voltage G9 halogen (230 V): 25 W, 260 lm and 2700 K, for wall lights and small decorative lamps.
  • Low-voltage G4 halogen: 10 W, 130 lm, 2800 K and dimmable, for 12 V fixtures with a transformer.

Incandescent and special lamps

  • Dimmable E14 incandescent bulbs: 15 W (85 lm) and 25 W (140 lm) at 2700 K, common in ovens, fridges, salt lamps or decorative pieces.
  • 4.8 V bayonet lamp: replacement for flashlights and low-voltage equipment.

When to use these lamps

Conventional lamps are the right choice when you need to keep an installation exactly as it is: a street light with a sodium ballast, an appliance that requires heat resistance or a designer fixture that only takes one specific type of lamp. If you're looking to save energy, take a look at our Osram-Ledvance LED bulbs or our LED bulbs for street lights, which replace sodium lamps with far lower consumption.

How to choose the right lamp

Base

Check the base of the lamp you're replacing: E27, E40, E14, G9, G4 or bayonet. They are not interchangeable.

Wattage and control gear

For discharge lamps (sodium), the wattage must match the fixture's ballast. For low-voltage halogens, make sure the transformer can handle the load.

Luminous flux and color temperature

Compare lumens to keep the same light level. The color temperature of these lamps ranges from 2000 K for sodium to 2700–2800 K for halogen and incandescent.

Dimming

Several models are dimmable; confirm that your dimmer is compatible.

Frequently asked questions

Can I replace a sodium lamp with an LED one?

Yes, in many cases, although you usually have to disconnect or bypass the ballast. Check with our technical team before doing so.

All Ledvance-Osram lamps come with the manufacturer's official warranty. At GreenIce we offer fast shipping and technical advice to find the exact replacement.
