BX3 outdoor LED floodlights are part of the professional BX3-LIGHT line in the GreenIce catalog and are designed to light large outdoor areas with few light points: facades, patios, warehouses, parking lots or loading areas. A well-chosen LED floodlight replaces old halogen or metal halide floodlights with far less wattage and no warm-up time.

What an outdoor LED floodlight is

A floodlight is a luminaire with a sealed housing, usually aluminum, that concentrates light in one direction thanks to its adjustable bracket. Within the GreenIce floodlight range you'll find different solutions:

Narrow optics (30-60º) for lighting at a distance or from height; wide optics (90-120º) for nearby surfaces.

IP rating

Outdoors, IP65 at a minimum. In areas with heavy rain or pressure washing, IP66 is better.

Color temperature

4000 K is the standard for work areas; 3000 K for facades and gardens; 6000 K when security is the priority.

Driver and durability

A good driver determines the floodlight's lifespan. Check the rated lifetime in hours and the surge protection.
