Description

The Meanwell HOY-SPV-150-12 transformer with PFC (Power Factor Correction) function comes integrated with a module that guarantees a power factor greater than 0.94. It is designed for heat dissipation by air convection, guaranteeing heat dissipation without the need to use a fan that adds noise to the installation.

It has protection against short circuits, over loads, over voltages and over heating. Its voltage output is programmable from 20 to 110% by means of an external control signal of 1 to 5.5Vdc with a maximum allowed switching frequency of 100kHz.

It can be connected directly to the electrical network (88-264VAC, 47-63Hz), it has an overheating protection that turns off the voltage output until the transformer temperature reaches its working range again, additionally, it has a protection for overloads from 105 to 150% where by means of a constant current limiter it makes the activity recover again after the fault condition is suppressed. Below is a diagram of how the voltage control installation should be through an input of 1 to 5.5 volts of direct current.
