The 300 lm 5000K Recessed LED Emergency Light is a self-contained luminaire designed to provide emergency and evacuation lighting in the event of a failure or interruption of the normal power supply. Its configuration allows for either maintained or non-maintained operation, making it adaptable to various installation and project requirements. It incorporates high-efficiency LED technology, delivering an emergency luminous flux of up to 300 lumens and a color temperature of 5000K. This produces highly visible white light suitable for identifying evacuation routes, exits, changes in direction, and circulation areas. Maintained / Non-maintained operation The luminaire supports two operating configurations: Maintained mode: the LED source remains on during normal operation and continues to operate using the internal battery when a mains power failure occurs. Non-maintained mode: the LED source remains off while mains power is present and activates automatically when a power supply failure is detected. The electronic system integrates the power supply, charging, and automatic switching circuits, maintaining the battery in operational condition and switching to emergency mode when mains voltage is lost. Self-contained emergency system The luminaire features a built-in rechargeable battery dedicated exclusively to emergency operation. When mains voltage is present, the electronic circuit keeps the battery charging. In the event of a power loss, the unit automatically switches to battery power to keep the LED module illuminated for the unit's specified autonomy period. The use of LED technology reduces energy consumption and heat output compared to traditional solutions, while also offering a long service life and minimizing the need for periodic light source replacement. Optics and light distribution Its optical system is designed to provide effective distribution of luminous flux across circulation surfaces, enhancing visibility during an emergency situation. Its 300 lm luminous flux makes it suitable for use in evacuation routes, corridors, hallways, stairwells, entryways, common areas, and other spaces requiring auxiliary lighting in the event of a mains power failure. The 5000K color temperature produces a neutral-cool white light that enhances visual clarity and provides good contrast for surrounding elements.
