1 Technical aspects on ceiling LEDs

In case of wanting to embed the luminaires on the roof, what is the right option?, Downlight LED spotlights or panels? 2 Installation of LED ceiling, is it very complicated?

It is not. In fact, even less expert hands can address it. Already, the main characteristic of these LED ceiling is that they do not require a hole in the ceiling, which simplifies the procedure quite a lot, compared to a Downlight LED. In order for an installation to be totally satisfactory, it is only necessary to resort to the fixing elements that are sold with the LED ceiling itself. Usually, to fix them to the ceiling, a sheet with holes designed specifically to place with screws is necessary. In any case, everything necessary will always be included with the product. Another aspect to consider is the driver, an essential element for this type of luminaire to work. For the structure of the ceiling itself, the driver is contained inside the ceiling itself. It is necessary to note that the drivers that come by default are not adjustable. Thus, those users who want to have this function must buy an adjustable power supply separately, also known as dimable. It is this component that allows adjusting the intensity of light to each moment or concrete stay.

3 Should we take into account the protection index (IP) on the LED ceiling?

It should have. Generally, these luminaries are intended to illuminate an interior. Hence the most generalized protection index is IP20. However, this figure cannot be lost sight of if the intention is to use outdoor LED ceiling ceiling. If they are going to be exposed to dust or water, it is advisable to choose models with a protection index equal to or greater than the IP65, also perfect to install in bathroom or kitchens.
