T8 LED Tubes 90CM

90 cm T8 LED tubes are the direct replacement for the 30 W T8 fluorescents still used in troffers, batten fixtures and vapor-tight luminaires in kitchens, garages, storage rooms and shops. With a 14 W LED tube you get the same or more light using less than half the energy, with no flicker at start-up and a much longer lifespan. At GreenIce you'll find the 90 cm tubes you need to upgrade those fixtures.

Available 90 cm T8 LED tubes

  • 90 cm T8 LED tube, 14 W, 1680 lm, 4200 K: neutral light, comfortable for kitchens, offices and shops.
  • 90 cm T8 LED tube, 14 W, 1680 lm, 6000 K: cool light, suitable for garages, storage rooms, workshops and warehouses. Available with opal or clear diffuser.
  • 90 cm T8 LED tube, 14 W, 1400 lm, 6000 K with single-end connection: for installations where the tube is powered from only one of its end caps.

All feature a rotating end cap, which lets you aim the light toward the area you want to illuminate after fitting the tube into the lampholders, and they have a rated lifespan of 60,000 hours.

Where are 90 cm tubes used?

The 90 cm size (just under 900 mm with end caps) is less common than 120 or 150 cm, and is mainly found in:

  • Kitchen and bathroom fixtures under cabinets or above mirrors.
  • Vapor-tight fixtures in garages, storage rooms and utility rooms.
  • Display cases, displays and medium-sized commercial fixtures.
  • Batten fixtures in narrow hallways or on shelves.

How to choose a 90 cm T8 LED tube

Size

Check that your current tube is a 90 cm T8 (26 mm diameter). If your fluorescent is 60, 120 or 150 cm, choose the corresponding size.

Connection

Check whether the tube is powered from both ends or just one, and whether your fixture has an electromagnetic or electronic ballast. In many cases you need to bypass the ballast and replace the starter; see the datasheet and ask for our technical advice.

Color temperature

4200 K for living and work areas; 6000 K for technical spaces where visibility comes first.

Diffuser

An opal diffuser spreads the light more softly and reduces glare; a clear one makes the most of the luminous flux.
