Description
This source is designed to work directly with LEDs (LED plates or COBs), not with LED strips. They must be equipment that is powered by constant current. This source has an auxiliary output of 12V/50mA.
This source works in Constant Current mode when we connect the LEDs directly that have a voltage within the Output Voltage Range in Constant Current mode and a working current equal to the output current. Be sure to set the desired output current using the current selector. For more information, see the technical sheet in the attached section.
With a plastic casing designed for LED and architectural lighting applications. Suitable for interior lighting, offices and LED panels. Low ripple current, flicker-free.
Input for temperature protection of the LED modules. The driver has an input to connect an NTC sensor (negative coefficient resistance) that allows us to reduce the output current in case of excess temperature in the LED modules. If we are not going to use this protection input, we can use it to connect a fixed resistance and adjust the output current to lower intermediate values of up to 56% lower than the value selected with the DIP-Switch. For example, if we want a current of 630mA we can adjust the output with the jumpers at 700mA and connect a 34kOhm resistor. For more information, consult the technical sheet in the "Attachments" tab and you can use the Excel file to calculate the value of the resistance.
It can be regulated with active or passive regulators of 0-10V or 1-10V , 10V PWM signal from 100Hz to 3KHz or by resistance from 0 to 100KOhms. Will not work with phase cut Triac dimmers. (Not to be confused with TRIACs, phase cut dimmers. This driver cannot be dimmed with a Triac). With active potentiometers that can give 0V, it allows turning off the output without the need for a switch. With 1-10V regulators we can only reach 10% regulation without turning off the output.
Compatible with any 0-10V or 1-10V regulator on the market, both active and passive.
