Solar LED Projector Spotlight

Solar LED floodlights let you light patios, gardens, facades and paths without running cables or paying for electricity: the photovoltaic panel charges the battery during the day and the floodlight switches on at night. At GreenIce you'll find solar floodlights with remote control, sensor and different light levels, also in packs to cover your whole property.

Available types of solar floodlights

Solar floodlights with tunable white (3CCT)

A series with IP65 protection, a 90º beam angle and three selectable light tones. Their actual wattages range from 5.5 W to 16 W, with outputs of 750 lm, 1000 lm, 1700 lm and 2700 lm depending on the model (sold as 50, 100, 200 and 300 W), and 5 V solar panels between 6 W and 20 W.

Solar floodlights with sensor and remote control

100 W and 200 W models in cool white (6000 K), with a light sensor for automatic switch-on at dusk, remote control and 6 V panels of 25 W and 30 W respectively. Their rated lifespan is 40,000 hours.

Floodlight packs

The 100 W and 200 W models are also available in packs of 2, 4 and 6 units, designed to light perimeters, rural properties or several entrances at once.

Where to install a solar floodlight

  • Gardens and patios: general or security lighting with no construction work.
  • Rural properties, farm buildings and sheds: where there is no grid connection or running one would be expensive.
  • Facades, garages and entrances: to deter intruders and see clearly when arriving at night.
  • Signs and parking areas: with automatic switch-on at dusk.

How to choose a solar LED floodlight

Actual lumens

With solar floodlights, the advertised wattage doesn't always match the actual wattage. Always compare the lumens and the actual wattage stated in the datasheet.

Panel size and hours of sunlight

The larger the panel, the faster the battery recharges. Install it facing south and free of shade for maximum runtime.

Color temperature

Cool light (6000 K) is best for security; 3CCT models let you choose a warmer tone for gardens.

IP rating

Look for IP65 so the floodlight can withstand rain and dust all year round.

Control

The remote control and dusk sensor let you program operation without touching the floodlight.

If you need more power with a grid connection, take a look at our outdoor LED floodlights. You may also be interested in the rest of our outdoor solar LED lighting and our solar PV energy section.

At GreenIce you get fast shipping, a 3-year warranty on GreenIce products and technical advice to choose the right solar floodlight.
