The panel needs direct sun for several hours a day. Avoid areas in permanent shade or under deep eaves.

IP44 is enough in somewhat sheltered areas; IP65 handles direct rain without any problem.

Battery

Battery capacity determines how many hours it runs. In winter or on cloudy days, runtime is reduced.
