LED Strips BX3

The BX3 LED strip range brings together in a single line everything you need to build an LED strip installation: strips, profiles, connectors and power supplies. At GreenIce we organize it by family so you can find every part of your project in one place.

What does the BX3 LED strip line include?

LED strips

  • 12V DC strips: for short runs, furniture and simple projects.
  • 24V DC strips: for long runs with even light.
  • 220V strips in reels: connect directly to the mains, without a transformer, and are perfect for long ceiling coves or covered outdoor areas.

Aluminum and polycarbonate profiles

Available in 1 and 2 meter lengths. For example, the 2-meter BX3 aluminum profile with clear diffuser protects the strip, dissipates heat and lets through the maximum amount of light. Also see our 2-meter profiles.

Connectors and controllers

We include connector cables for 220V LED strips, in standard and crimp versions, which let you power the strip safely without soldering. The line is completed with controllers for dimming or changing color.

Power supplies

12 and 24 V DC power supplies for low-voltage strips and 12 and 24 VAC transformers for specific applications.

Applications

  • Lighting under kitchen cabinets and on shelves.
  • Ceiling coves and indirect lighting.
  • Store windows, display cases and signs.
  • Balconies and covered porches with protected strips.

How to choose your LED strip

Voltage

12V for short runs, 24V for long runs and 220V when you don't want to use a transformer or the installation is very long. See our 220V strips in reels.

Color temperature and wattage

Choose warm light for ambiance and neutral or cool for work areas; the more watts per meter, the more light.

IP rating

IP20 for dry indoor areas, IP65 or higher if there is moisture.

Connection

Each type of strip needs its own connector: 220V connectors won't work with 12/24V strips and vice versa. Check out our connectors and accessories.

Frequently asked questions

Can I cut the strips?

Yes, always at the marked points; on 220V strips the cutting interval is longer.
