Philips-Signify E27 LED bulbs bring the light quality and reliability of one of the world's major lighting manufacturers to the most widely used base on the market, the standard E27 screw. Philips E27 bulb shapes

  • G93 and G120 globe bulbs: 7 W and 806 lumens, in neutral (4000 K) or cool (6500 K) light. Their large size makes them perfect for exposed-bulb lamps, pendants and decorative wall lights.
  • R63 and R80 reflector bulbs: 3 to 4.5 W and between 255 and 410 lumens in 2700 K warm light, with a dimmable version. They direct light forward, like old incandescent reflectors, in spotlights and adjustable lamps.
  • High-output A95 bulb: 23 W and over 3400 lumens at 6500 K, for large rooms, commercial premises or work areas that need plenty of light from a single point.

Where to use Philips E27 bulbs

The E27 base is found in most ceiling, floor, table and pendant lamps. Globe bulbs shine when the bulb is part of the decor; reflectors, in kitchen spotlights, store windows or reading lamps; and the A95, in garages, storage rooms or shops. How to choose a Philips E27 bulb

Shape

Choose the shape based on the lamp: globe for exposed bulbs, reflector for directed light, standard for general lighting.

Lumens

806 lumens is roughly equivalent to a 60 W incandescent. For more light, move up to higher-output models.

Color temperature

2700 K for warm ambiances, 4000 K for kitchens and bathrooms, 6500 K for work areas.

Dimming

If your lamp has a dimmer, choose a model marked as dimmable.
