T8 LED Tubes 120CM

120 cm T8 LED tubes are the direct replacement for the most widely used fluorescent in offices, garages, warehouses, shops and kitchens. At around 18 W they replace the 36 W fluorescent of the same length, give instant, flicker-free light and cut energy use in half. At GreenIce you'll find 120 cm T8 tubes in different tones and formats.

Available 120 cm T8 tubes

  • 18 W polycarbonate T8 tube: 1,800 lm, 5000 K light and single-end connection, with a PC body that is more impact-resistant than glass.
  • 18 W rotating-cap T8 tubes: 2,160 lm, in 4000–4200 K or 6000 K, which let you aim the light beam once installed; available in packs of 2, 4 and 6.
  • Colored T8 tubes with opal diffuser: 18 W and 1,500 lm in blue, pink or green, for store windows, entertainment venues or decoration.
  • Professional packs: lots of 10 and 30 tubes, 18 W and 2,520 lm, for upgrading large installations.
  • T8 tube with motion detector: 18 W and 6000 K, which switches on only when it detects presence.

You'll find all models in the T8 LED tubes collection.

Where to use 120 cm tubes

This is the standard size for ceiling troffers and batten fixtures in offices, classrooms, supermarkets, garages, storage rooms and warehouses. They are also used in home kitchens and laundry rooms. In damp or dusty areas, install them inside vapor-tight fixtures; if you're starting from scratch, you can use aluminum batten fixtures for T8 tubes.

How to choose a 120 cm T8 LED tube

Connection type

Single-end tubes receive power from one side only; when replacing a fluorescent, you need to bypass or remove the ballast and starter. Always check the wiring diagram.

Lumens

Between 1,800 and 2,520 lm depending on the model: more lumens for warehouses and workshops, fewer for walkways.

Color temperature

4000–5000 K for offices and shops; 6000 K for garages and warehouses.

Material

Polycarbonate is safer against breakage, ideal in areas at risk of impacts or in the food industry.

At GreenIce you get fast shipping, a 3-year warranty on GreenIce products and technical advice to work out how many tubes you need.
