Types of Osram-Ledvance drivers

24 V constant-voltage power supplies for LED strips

• Ledvance EC Superior DR-SUP: 24 V power supplies, 60 W and 200 W.
• Ledvance EC Superior DALI 45 W: DALI-dimmable 24 V power supply.
• Ledvance EC Performance DIM 150 W: dimmable 24 V power supply for higher-power LED strip installations.
• Osram OptoTronic OT CV 20: 20 W, 24 V power supply for small installations.

Constant-current drivers

• Osram OTI DALI: DALI-dimmable drivers of 10 W (700 mA), 15 W and 50 W (1.4 A), plus the 60 W OTI DALI CC Linear G3 and the 1 to 4-channel OTI DALI DIM.
• Osram OptoTronic OTE 10 W 700 mA: compact non-dimmable driver for downlights and LED modules.
• Osram SGI DALI PS 100: power supply for the DALI bus.

Ballasts and transformers for traditional lamps

• QuickTronic (QT ECO, QT-FIT 5, QT-FIT 8, QT-FIT 5/8, QT-FQ, QTP Optimal, QTZ8): electronic ballasts for T5 and T8 fluorescent tubes and compact lamps, in 1 to 4-lamp configurations.
• PowerTronic PTI 70: electronic ballast for 70 W discharge lamps.
• Halotronic HTM 105: electronic transformer for low-voltage halogen lamps.

Applications

24 V power supplies drive 24 V LED strips in kitchens, display cabinets and ceiling coves. DALI drivers are used in offices, hotels and shops with centralized lighting control. QuickTronic and PowerTronic ballasts are the ideal replacement for maintaining existing fluorescent or discharge installations.

How to choose a driver

Constant voltage or constant current

LED strips run on constant voltage (24 V). Modules, downlights and luminaires usually run on constant current (mA). Always check what your equipment needs.

Wattage

The driver should exceed the total wattage of the load with a safety margin of around 20%.

Dimming

For digital control and scenes, choose DALI. See our DALI drivers section.

Lamp type

For ballasts, check the number of lamps and their wattage (for example, 3x14 W or 2x54-58 W).

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a QuickTronic ballast with LED tubes?

Only with LED tubes that are specifically compatible with electronic ballasts. Otherwise, it is best to bypass the ballast and power the tube directly.

What warranty do they have?
